There is neither any agreement nor any announcement to be made, yet why is Narendra Modi leaving the election campaign and going to Bhutan?

New Delhi: Chinese dictator Xi-Jin Ping must have calculated that all the prominent leaders of India, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, will be engaged in the electoral battle. Therefore, it has started the road construction work in Doklam in the area of Bhutan which is a travel point between India, China and Bhutan.

It is worth noting that a few months ago, the Prime Minister of Bhutan had visited China, which India did not like, but by going to China, he showed that Bhutan can maintain its independent foreign policy. But the praise stuck to him. China has started building a road in the Doklam area occupied by Bhutan. This tri-junction is known as Pickens Neck. If China enters there then there is a threat to the entire north-eastern region of India. At the same time, the same lesson has been taught to China on the Indian side of the border in 2017. Therefore, he does not have the courage to go towards India in Doklam Valley. But the road towards Bhutan has already started. That is why the Prime Minister of Bhutan came to India from 14th to 18th. Where Rajnath Singh congratulated him and asked the Indian soldiers to reach there.

Due to this the situation at Tribheta Tiraha has become tense. Therefore, Prime Minister Modi is taking a break from election campaign and going on Bhutan tour on 21-22 March.

Former Prime Minister of Bhutan Bote Tshering played an important role in resolving the border dispute with China. It was also agreed to form a technical team to resolve the border dispute with China. China also emphasized diplomatic relations with Bhutan. But due to pressure from India this could not happen yet. In such a situation, when China starts building a road in Doklam in Bhutan's own territory, Bhutan has to take refuge in India. Modi is going to Bhutan to pay tribute to him and take stock of the situation.
