Bhopal, 27 November (HS). In the past periods, historians did not do justice to the efforts and work of tribal heroes and great men. The struggle, bravery, bravery, sacrifice and renunciation of the tribal heroes were not presented in the right perspective in the pages of history. There is a need to present the historical, social and spiritual glorious contribution of the tribal society and their sacrifice for the independence of the country in the right perspective. Not only the tribal society but the entire nation benefited from the efforts and work of tribal heroes and great men. There is a need to bring this overall idea of tribal contribution to the nation before the public mind. For this, the National Education Policy-2020 has provided an opportunity to write the true history of the struggle for independence from the Indian perspective with an Indian perspective.
Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said this on Wednesday at the inauguration of a one-day workshop organized on the occasion of National Tribal Pride Day at Gauranjani Auditorium of Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal. He said that there is a need to tell the glorious history of India, the best knowledge tradition, civilization, culture, heritage, bravery, valor and sacrifices and achievements of the heroes of independence to the present generation and the coming generation from the Indian point of view in the right perspective.
Minister Parmar said that the tribal society is a nature worshiping society. The basic feeling of Indian civilization is gratitude in the worship of nature. The feeling of gratitude is our civilization and heritage. The feeling of gratitude towards nature, water sources and all energy sources including the sun has traditionally existed in the Indian society since ancient times. India’s knowledge was the best on the world stage even thousands of years before Christ, hence India was decorated as a world guru. We all need to awaken a sense of pride in India’s best knowledge and participate in making the country a leader on the world stage again. For this, we will have to come out of the inferiority complex over Indian achievements and awaken the sense of self. Tribal heroes had their own weapons, which they manufactured themselves. Even before BC, tribal societies have been producing superior iron. Many such creations of tribal society still exist today. There is a need to re-study, research and present such works in a factual and correct perspective.
Higher Education Minister Parmar said that in the perspective of National Education Policy-2020, there is an opportunity to enrich education with Indian knowledge tradition. For this, libraries in all the universities and colleges of the state will be enriched with literature related to Indian knowledge tradition and tribal contribution. He said that to present the Indian knowledge of pre-Christian times back on the world stage, there is a need for factual inclusion in the educational scenario with the Indian perspective in an age-appropriate perspective on the basis of research and study.
Parmar said that with the participation of all of us, India will again become a leader on the world stage in the centenary year of independence. By becoming self-reliant in the field of energy through solar energy, the nation will be able to supply to other countries. By becoming self-reliant in the field of food grains, the country will become capable of feeding other countries. Participation of all of us is necessary in realizing the concept of a developed and world leader India in the year 2047. Minister Parmar inaugurated the photo exhibition on the efforts and work of the tribal heroes of the nation and also visited the exhibition.
Principal Secretary Higher Education Anupam Rajan said that an exhibition based on the bravery of the tribal immortals who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle has been launched, but unfortunately today we do not recognize seventy-five percent of the paintings of tribal heroes put up in the exhibition. Are. It is the moral responsibility of all of us to remember the sacrifice of those whose sacrifice we are all breathing in the open air today. Rajan said that these things have to be kept before the coming generation, so that they know and recognize their heroes.
Additional Secretary (Chief Minister’s Secretariat) Laxman Singh Markam said in the seed statement that Madhya Pradesh is the first state to plant the seeds of Tribal Pride Day. There has been a decade long ideological journey of Madhya Pradesh behind Tribal Pride Day. After this, in the year 2021, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country celebrated the first Tribal Pride Day.
Markam said that even in subjugated India, the tribal society was the only society which did not remain subjugated but kept on vocally rebelling against the British subjugation. There is a need to restore the pride of the society, correcting the historical hypocrisy in the right perspective. It is the moral responsibility of the researchers and historians of our country to present the efforts and contributions of the unsung tribal heroes in the right perspective to the Indian public.
The main objective of this workshop was to highlight the sacrifices made by the tribals for the nation and to know their historical, social and spiritual glorious history. In the workshop, on the occasion of the 500th birth anniversary of the brave queen Rani Durgavati and the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, ideas were brainstormed on organizing various activities in the higher educational institutions of the state on the historical, social and spiritual contribution of tribal heroes. There was also brainstorming for activities based on the sacrifices and efforts of tribal warriors for the nation. Discussions were held to create an action plan regarding year-long programs and various activities based on tribal heroes in all the universities and colleges of the state.
It was discussed in the workshop that all the universities will organize activities in their universities in collaboration with different groups, in which their affiliated colleges will also participate. An essay competition based on the efforts and work of tribal heroes will be organized at the college level. The first three winners will participate in the university level essay competition and the university level winners will participate in the state level essay competition. On the instructions of Higher Education Minister Parmar, an exhibition of tribal pride will be set up in all the universities and colleges under the Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell.
