On this occasion, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah announced projects worth more than Rs 3012 crore in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad East and Ahmedabad West parliamentary constituencies under Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC-MC), Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) and Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited. Virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 63 works from Delhi. He inaugurated about 1900 LIG houses, Mummadpura Underpass, Godhavi Bridge, Multipurpose Building, 7 Health ATMs, Primary Schools and Anganwadi. He laid the foundation stone of development works like Railway Underbridge, Riverfront Development Project, 40 Smart Schools, Water Distribution Network, Drainage Lines, Primary Health Centre, LIG Housing, Waste Collection Center and Barrage-cum-Bridge etc. Along with this, the citizens of Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency got the gift of development works worth Rs 1805 crore of Auda and Municipal Corporation and the citizens of Ahmedabad East and West Lok Sabha constituency got the gift of development works and foundation stone laying of Rs 1206 crore of Municipal Corporation. On this occasion, Shah said that he has inaugurated 91 percent of the development works laid foundation stones in Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency in the last five years. He said that all the schools of Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency will now become Anupam Smart Schools. Continuous flow of development is the culture of BJP.
