Hathras, July 13 (HS). Unknown thieves cut the latch of the door of Lokeshwar Maharaj temple located on GT Road in Sikandrarao area of ​​the district and stole it last Friday night. The thieves stole the brass bell, fan and other items used for worshipping God etc. installed in the temple. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident and started searching for the thieves after investigation.

Temple sevadar Sudhir Maheshwari son of Mission Swaroop Maheshwari resident of Mohalla Aurangabad West said in the complaint given to the police on Saturday that Lokeshwar Maharaj temple is located near Rambagh temple on GT road. When he reached the temple on Saturday morning to open the lock, the gate was open. When he saw, he found that the door latch was cut and theft had been committed. Unknown thieves have stolen five brass bells weighing about 17 kg, a fan and other brass items installed inside the temple. There is anger among the people around due to the theft incident in the temple. People have said that the thieves will be caught soon. On the basis of the complaint, the police has started action.
