The wait of thousands of students studying in Delhi University (DU), who were dreaming of working and earning money along with studies, is almost over. The process of selecting candidates for DU’s most prestigious internship scheme—the Vice Chancellor’s Internship Scheme (VCIS)—has reached its final stages.

Very soon, the final list of those lucky students is going to be released, who will get a chance to work with DU and earn a good amount of money every month!

Some ‘special’ will be selected among 3500

The craze that DU students have for this internship can be gauged from the fact that more than 3500 applications were received this year. After rigorous screening, 2280 students were shortlisted.

Dean of Students Welfare of DU, Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi said that the Group Discussion (GD) round for these 2280 students has also been successfully completed from 13 to 15 October. Now only the final list is left to be announced, for which students will not have to wait much.

So why is this internship special?

This is no ordinary internship. Students selected under this scheme will get admission in DU More than 55 different departments and offices Will get a chance to work.

  • Earning with work: Students will not only get work experience but will also get a good stipend, with which they can fulfill their minor needs on their own.
  • Treasure of Learning: This internship not only teaches students office work but also enhances their leadership and communication skills. It also makes their CV much stronger.

You will get two great options in internship

  1. Part-Time Internship (6 Months):
    • In this, along with studies, one has to work only 8-10 hours a week.
    • Stipend: ₹5,775 per month.
  2. Full-Time Summer Internship (2 Months):
    • This takes place during holidays and involves working 20 hours a week.
    • Stipend: ₹11,000 per month.
