The centuries-old tradition of Shravani swing festival, which runs for 10 days from Nag Panchami to Shravan Purnima, is still going on in Ram Janaki Sant Badridas temple of Bidokhar village. Despite the lack of time, due to the special attachment and awareness of the village artists, no stone is left unturned to keep the Bundelkhandi folk traditions alive by performing them with full vigor and joy. Alha singer of Bidokhar, Ranvijay Singh said that swing and Alha singing are quite popular in Bidokhar and other villages. According to this tradition, swing is still considered auspicious. He said that nature adorns itself in Sawan which is very captivating. This is such a season when nature is happy and people's hearts also start dancing.

Folk music artist Amar Singh says that all the Bundelkhand folk traditions associated with the month of Saavan, which fills the folk life with joy, enthusiasm, love-unity and religious culture, have a distinct identity. Bundelkhand has been rich in cultural traditions. Bundelkhand literature and culture have a unique and raw soil-like fragrance. He said that Bundelkhand's famous poets like Jagnik and Isuri have enriched the literature here, and have kept the traditions alive through folk songs, folk tales, heroic tales and folk literature. Because traditions refine the society. The folk values, folk customs, folk life, folk literature and folk arts present in folk culture provide people with a joyful way to live life, this is the reason that traditions still have a special place in folk life, Saavan songs filled with love are sung in abundance even today.

Alha singer Dinesh Singh said that the existence of Alha singing, which is full of heroic and romantic sentiments, still exists in Sawan. As soon as Sawan arrives, many lines of Alha poetry and Rayaso create harmony in the environment. People still listen to the singing of Alha lines like Sir Dhaare Chakoti (Khappar) Chali Dekhe Sawan, Sang Sakhi Saheli and Manbhavan Sawan… with great enthusiasm. He said that even today in the village, people who have a special interest in Alha singing, listen to it emotionally throughout the Sawan, sometimes through smartphones and sometimes through buffers, music players, etc. People are seen singing the heroic tales of Alha Udal throughout the month, while people associated with the said singing practice for singing in the program organized on the occasion of Rakshabandhan festival. This is the reason that even today the tradition of putting a swing in the Dev Sthan and singing Alha in Sawan is ingrained in the minds of the people of the rural area.
