Washington: There was a stir at 10.30 pm on Saturday night when a motor suddenly turned at the gate of the outer entrance (Jhampa) of the President's official residence 'White House'. Even though there is a clear safety protocol in place, it's natural to cause a bit of chaos when this happens. But no damage could be done to the White House, the President's residence, because it is far away from outside hustle and bustle. Despite this, police officials also say that it is not correct to say that the security protocol was broken.
A man was driving the motor. He has not been identified yet. However, the police denied any political motive behind the incident and clarified that it was actually just another traffic incident.
The Washington Metropolitan Police Department said the motor vehicle broke through a safety barrier at the intersection of Finney Street and Pennsylvania Avenue (NW) and crashed directly into the White House steps.
The Metropolitan Police Department's 'Major Crash Unit' is investigating the incident further. The Secret Service has denied any conspiracy behind the incident.
