After losing the toss and batting first, Hubli Tigers set a target of 165 runs in 20 overs for Bengaluru Blasters led by Mayank Agarwal, but Bengaluru Blasters scored 164 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. The result was that the match was tied and its decision reached the super over. However, two super overs were tied here as well. After which in the third super over, Manish Pandey's team won the match by defeating Hubli Tigers team on the last ball.
After the match was tied, both teams played the first super over, which was also tied. In the first super over, Bengaluru Blasters gave a target of 11 runs, in response to which Hubli's team could score only 10 runs. After which the second super over was played in which Hubli scored 8 runs while batting first, in response Bengaluru's team could score only 8 runs after losing 1 wicket. After which in the third super over, Bengaluru Blasters gave a target of 13 runs, in response to which Hubli's team won the third super over by hitting a four on the last ball.
