Lucknow, 01 August (HS). During the discussion on the supplementary budget on Thursday, the fourth day of the monsoon session of the UP Legislative Assembly, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey strongly cornered the opposition on all issues ranging from law and order, corruption, education in primary schools, problems of teachers, shortage of teachers. It is a different matter that CM Yogi kept laughing at the sweet words of the Leader of Opposition.
The Leader of Opposition said that a provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for charitable roads. The CM himself should review the roads. The roads of Ayodhya are dilapidated. The government spent a lot of money. The Chief Minister had big dreams. But the situation is not good.
Pandey raised the demand to increase the money for school uniforms for children in primary schools. He said that parents spend money on buying fertilizers. Children do not get uniforms due to this. Poor children come there to study. There is no teacher in my village. Shiksha Mitras teach.
Teachers have a strong alliance with BSA. Those who have access to BSA. They have five teachers in one school. There may be 15 children in that school. Therefore, create a mechanism so that children get teachers. There should be availability of teachers in all schools.
He said that like the ruling party, the opposition MLAs should also be allocated additional funds. Like them, we should also be given Rs. 6 crore. We have taken an oath that no injustice should be done to anyone. We should treat everyone equally.
Mata Prasad Pandey also raised questions on the law and order of the Yogi government. He said that cyber fraud is bigger than robbery. In this, we do not even know and the money disappears from the account. The government should take steps to stop this.
Leader of Opposition Pandey also cornered the government on corruption. Apart from this, he said that the government should pay special attention to unemployment. He also raised questions on hiring contract employees through NGOs. Contract employees are removed at the slightest resentment. I do not say that they should be made permanent. But it should be ensured that no contract employee can be fired easily.
He said that he also has a relation with Gorakshapeeth. He used to go to Gorakhnath temple since childhood. Neta Sadan's grandfather Guru used to love children a lot. His Guru also used to listen to all of us. He used to love us. Neta Sadan must be like that too. But he runs the bulldozer. I think there is no dearth of Neta Sadan. This is the demand of age. Further Mata Prasad Pandey said that Neta Sadan says that everyone in SP is a criminal. I want to know that those who were released from jail in Prayagraj belong to which party. Those who are roaming freely in Jaunpur belong to which party.
