Jhansi, 27 August (HS). Bundelkhand University has completed 49 years since its establishment. On this occasion, havan and puja were organized in the premises of the administration building. Vice Chancellor Professor Mukesh Pandey, Registrar Vinay Kumar Singh, Finance Officer Pramod Kumar, Controller of Examinations Raj Bahadur along with officials, teachers, employees and students participated in the puja and havan. The last one year will be remembered as the golden period in the glorious history of Bundelkhand University.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Mukesh Pandey, the university received the best A++ grade from NAAC. It achieved a high position in PM Usha as well as Meru and NIRF. The university was selected among 25 universities across the country and received a grant of Rs 100 crore. After receiving the best grade from NAAC, the teachers of the university have so far received projects worth Rs 1.04 crore. To promote the promotion of millets, sweets made of millets are being distributed to the students on the occasion of 15 August and 26 January. More than 100 MoUs have been signed with various national level institutions. For the first time, the university has provided financial assistance to students and teachers and given them permission to participate in seminars abroad. Many buildings of the university have been renovated. Along with water harvesting, arrangements for solar energy production have also been made in many buildings. The students of Bharat NCC NSS of the university are raising the name of the university at the national level. The university provided cash prizes of up to Rs 42000 to such students. Bundelkhand University is now strengthening its identity at the state and national level with the pride of Bundelkhand. The Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to the university family for all these achievements. He said that when everyone's collective efforts are put to achieve a goal, success is definitely achieved.
