Ayodhya, 9 August (HS). Before the Panchkosi Parikrama to be held in Ayodhya during the month of November, the construction and road widening of the four-lane Parikrama Marg being built by the Yogi government will be completed. So far, 55 percent of the work has been completed by the Public Works Department. For the development of Ayodhya, the Central and State Governments are running various projects with a budget of billions of rupees. In the famous Panchkosi Parikrama of Ayodhya, lakhs of devotees from the country and abroad come to Ayodhya and perform the Parikrama. To provide a smooth route to the devotees for the Parikrama, the Yogi Government of the state is constructing a four-lane road. To make the Panchkosi Parikrama Marg four-lane and widen the road, the state government has started the construction of four lanes at a cost of 473.22 crores. The length of the road is 9.025 kilometers.

The construction of Panchkosi Parikrama started from 16 October 2023. So far, about 55 percent of the road construction has been completed. Let us tell you that this will be the first Panchkosi Parikrama after the installation of the idol of Ramlala in the new, grand Ram temple on January 22. In such a situation, it is believed that a huge crowd of devotees will gather in the 14 Kosi Parikrama of Ayodhya. Along with this, there is a possibility of a huge crowd gathering in Panchkosi Parikrama as well. In such a situation, the Public Works Department, the construction unit constructing the four-lane, wants to prepare the Panchkosi Parikrama Marg as a four-lane by 26 November 2024. In the review meeting of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it has been emphasized that the construction of Panchkosi Parikrama Marg should be completed in any case before Panchkosi Parikrama.
