Badaun, July 10 (HS). The body of a farmer was found in a pond in suspicious condition on Wednesday in Nizampur village of Wazirganj police station area. When the police took the body out of the pond, they saw that bricks and sticks were tied to both the legs. From this, it is being assumed that after committing the murder, the murderer tied bricks and sticks to the legs and threw the body in the pond.
The police identified the body found in the pond as Satish, a farmer from the village. After getting information about the incident, the family members who reached the post-mortem house told that Satish left after dinner on the evening of July 5 saying that he was going to the field and did not return. When no information was received about him even after inquiring from relatives and friends, the family registered a missing person report of Satish in Wazirganj police station on July 8.
On the other hand, as soon as the information about the case was received, SSP Brijesh Singh inspected the crime scene and instructed the Wazirganj police station in-charge to solve the murder case as soon as possible. The police station in-charge says that further action is being taken by registering a case on the basis of the post-mortem report and the complaint of the family members.
