Today is going to be a very special day for the residents of Tajnagari Agra. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is coming on an important visit to Agra today (April 7) and he is going to give a historic gift of Rs 5142 crore to the city residents. CM Yogi will lay the foundation stone and do the bhoomi pujan of the ambitious ‘Greater Agra’ township project today. With this mega project, not only will the old residential structure of Agra become completely hi-tech, but it will also prove to be a milestone in the development of the city.

How will the new and hi-tech ‘Greater Agra’ be?

Under the ‘New Cities Incentive Scheme’ and urban expansion policy of the Yogi government, Agra Development Authority (ADA) is bringing this huge and modern township project to the ground. 10 modern residential townships will be established on approximately 449.65 hectares of land in village Raipur and Rahan Kalan. This new city will be equipped with absolutely world class facilities. It will have lush green parks, wide and well-maintained roads, 24-hour smooth supply of electricity and water along with every modern civic facility that a smart city should have.

Will also participate in the birth anniversary of Maluknath Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan

Along with closely inspecting the model of ‘Greater Agra’, CM Yogi will also inaugurate development schemes worth crores of rupees of many other departments of Agra district. After this, the Chief Minister will reach Vrindavan in Mathura in the next phase of his tour. Here he will participate in the 452nd birth anniversary celebration of Shrimad Jagatguru Dwaracharya Shri Maluknath Ji Maharaj and will spend about an hour there and take blessings of the saints.

Know the minute-to-minute schedule of CM Yogi

As per the schedule, the Chief Minister’s helicopter will land at the Raipur-Rahan Kalan venue located near the expressway at 4:25 pm today. Here, State Tourism Minister and Agra in-charge Jaiveer Singh will give him a grand welcome. Exactly 5 minutes after this, i.e. at 4:30 pm, CM Yogi will do the Bhoomi Pujan of ‘Greater Agra’ and address a huge public meeting. After completing all the programs they will leave back at 5:25 pm. Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh has described this project as historic and claimed that all preparations have been completed.
