Prayagraj, 15 May (HS). Today “101 Reasons Why I Will Vote for Modi” graphic novel was released at a hotel. During this, the author of the novel, Shantanu Gupta, informed everyone about the book and inspired all the readers to read this book.
On this occasion, the book's author Shantanu Gupta said that it is a rare experiment in making serious political commentary through a graphic novel on the 10 years of work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This book uses 10 different popular art styles. During my research under my Chevening Gurukul Fellowship on the topic 'Using graphics novels for political commentary' at the University of Oxford, I studied and followed various political graphic novels.
She said the book is written from the perspective of a voter, on why she will vote to bring Narendra Modi back to power in 2024. I have collected most of my stories after speaking directly to beneficiaries of various schemes of the Modi government. The situation has changed a lot. In the past, at a religious place like Ayodhya, the roads were red with the blood shed by the bullets fired on the devotees of Ram, today in the same religious city, they are red with the flowers showered on the devotees. All sections of the society have been benefited and to reflect this, this book has been given the form of a comic. So that people of all age groups can read it and choose the right person for their country.
Shantanu Maharaj said that this book should be read by everyone, the interesting and well-organized manner in which it has been written is praiseworthy. There has been a lot of positive change in the last 10 years, which has been accurately described in this book. Surely this book will help everyone in choosing the right representative for themselves.
