Under this ambitious plan, world class and Olympic level modern stadiums will now be built in Bihar. Regarding this big decision, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary held an important review meeting with the top officials of the Sports Department and issued strict instructions to them to get this project off the ground as soon as possible.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide global level infrastructure, state-of-the-art training centers and facilities of international standards to the young athletes of the state at their home. During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister laid special emphasis on the fact that mere development of infrastructure is not enough, but a strong and transparent system should also be created to hone the talent of the players. The Sports Department has been instructed to run a special campaign to identify promising players from the school and district level itself. Under this new sports policy of the government, along with high level coaching, financial assistance and full diet expenses will also be provided to the players so that the youth of Bihar can win as many medals as possible for the country in the upcoming Olympics and Asian Games.
