Lucknow, May 24 (HS). Tej Pratap Singh, Daksh Gopal, Anuj Gautam and Jitendra Pratap Singh won the best boxer trophy in Lucknow District Boxing Tournament with their brilliant performance in the ring. On the other hand, in the women's category, Sanaya Pal, Kajal Pandey, Vaishnavi Pal, Ayushi Dwivedi and Anjali Yadav of KD Singh Babu Stadium won gold medals and Surabhi Kashyap, Saloni Gupta, Sujita Kumari and Shreya Singh won silver medals.
In the competition organized in the newly built boxing hall of KD Singh Babu Stadium in coordination with Boxing Association Lucknow and Regional Sports Office Lucknow, the boxers of KD Singh Babu Stadium won a total of 16 gold and 11 silver medals. The best boxers were Tej Pratap Singh of KD Singh in the mini boys category, Daksh Gopal of CBA in the sub-junior category, Anuj Gautam of Josh Boxing Academy in the junior category and Jitendra Pratap Singh of KD Singh in the senior category.
In the closing ceremony, chief guest Bhagwati Singh (Joint Education Director, Camp Office, Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh) and special guests Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey, General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association and Pramod Kumar, Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Amateur Boxing Association distributed prizes to the winners. The closing ceremony was presided over by Atul Agnihotri, President of Boxing Association Lucknow, while Secretary Sahdev Singh expressed his gratitude.
On this occasion, Regional Sports Officer of Lucknow Division Ajay Kumar Sethi, Boxing Association Lucknow Chairman Deepak Sharma, Organizing President RC Verma (social worker), Organizing Secretary Pranav Shrivastava, Vice President Manoj Patel and Boxing Coach of KD Singh Babu Stadium Kripashankar and others were present.

In 45-48 kg, Kanti of Josh Boxing Academy (JBA) defeated Saloni Gupta of KD Singh Babu Stadium, in 48-50 kg, Preeti of JBA defeated Pratibha of JBA, in 52-54 kg, Sanaya Pal of KD Singh Babu Stadium defeated Sujita Kumari of KD Singh.
In 54-57 kg, Kajal Pandey of KD Singh Babu Stadium defeated Agamya of Kids Fits Sports Zone (KFSZ), in 57-60 kg, Vaishnavi Pal of KD Singh Babu Stadium defeated Shivani Gautam of Sarojininagar Boxing Academy (SNBA), in 63-66 kg, Aayushi Dwivedi of KD Singh Babu Stadium defeated Shreya Singh of Babu Stadium and in 75-81 kg, Anjali Yadav of KD Singh Babu Stadium defeated Vaishnavi Khanna of STMS.

In the 46-48 kg weight category, Suraj Kumar Tiwari of KD Singh Babu Stadium defeated Mrityunjay Singh of Modern Academy (MA), while in 48-51, Mohit Kumar of KFSZ defeated Saransh Verma of KD Singh.
In 51-54 kg, Piyush Patel of KD Singh defeated Naman Bharti of KD Singh, in 54-57 kg, Sudhanshu Pal of Champions Boxing Academy (CBA) defeated Atharv Singh Yadav of KD Singh, in 57-60 kg, Sahil Kumar of KD Singh defeated Piyush Sharma of KFSZ. In 71-75 kg, Anurag Mishra of KD Singh defeated Ishaan Singh of MA and in 80-86 kg, Mohit Sengar of SNBA defeated Wali Abbas of CBA. In 63.5-67 kg, Jitendra Pratap Singh of KD Singh and in 67-71 kg, Nikhil Tiwari of KFSZ won gold medals.
