Teenage girl kidnapped, raped and video recorded, case registered


Kaushambi, July 10 (HS). Karari police station is not serious about serious crimes against women and teenage girls. The teenage girl was kidnapped from the farm and taken by the scoundrels to Prayagraj, where she was raped. It is alleged that her obscene video was made and her brother threatened to kill her father if he told anyone about the incident. The victim's father made a written complaint about the incident to the police station, but due to the lax policy of the police, a case was not registered. The accused made the video of the victim viral by uploading it on social media. Hurt by this, the father and the victim came to the SP office and gave an application to the police officers, threatening to commit mass suicide, and demanded legal action against the accused.

After the instructions of the SP, the Kumbhakarani sleep of the police station broke. The police station has registered a case under serious sections against one named and another unknown person. On 1st July, a 17 year old girl from a village in Karari had gone to the field from her home to cut fodder for the cattle. From the field itself, Sanu son of Rasheed from her neighboring village lured her and kidnapped her with one of his companions.
According to the victim, the accused took her to his brother-in-law's house in Prayagraj. Where she was raped forcefully. During this, the accused made an obscene video of the victim on his mobile. By showing it to her, the accused threatened the victim not to tell anyone about the incident. Apart from this, the accused threatened to kill her father and brother if she opens her mouth.
After the daughter went missing, the victim's father searched for her among his relatives and on 4th July gave a written notice to the police station and demanded that an FIR be registered. But the police station kept sending the victim back home in the name of investigation after making him visit the police station for 4 days. In an application given to SP Brijesh Srivastava on 8th July, the victim accused the police station of negligence and collusion with the accused and not taking any action.

The SP ordered the police station in-charge to take immediate action in the matter and register a case against the accused. Looking at the gravity of the crime, the SP directed the Circle Officer Manjhanpur to supervise. Looking at the attitude of SP Brijesh Srivastava, ten days after the incident, the police station has started legal proceedings by registering a case against accused Sanu and another unknown person. Circle Officer Satyendra Tiwari said, in this case a case has been registered against accused Sanu and another person. The victim is being medically examined. Accused Aabi is still at large from the police's reach. He will soon be sent behind bars.
