Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt is directing the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film produced by Aditya Chopra.
Joining them will be the rising star of the industry and YRF's homegrown talent Sharvari. They both play super-agents in the spyverse and it seems Aditya Chopra is introducing them as the alpha girls of the pack! YRF, Alia and Sharvari announced the title of the film today. It is a clear move by YRF, highlighting the social misconception that only men can be alphas! In the title, Alia Bhatt is heard saying, 'The very first letter of the Greek alphabet and the motto of our program. First, fastest, bravest. If you look carefully, there is a jungle in every city. And in the jungle, always rule.' Alpha is being directed by Shiv Rawail of blockbuster global streaming series The Railway Man fame, which was also produced by YRF.
Created by producer Aditya Chopra, the YRF Spy Universe is the biggest IP in Indian cinema today. Spy-related films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathan, Tiger 3 have all been blockbusters. Alia-Sharvari's Alpha is the next big film from Aditya Chopra, who is currently making War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. The next films in this famous blockbuster universe will be Pathan 2, followed by Tiger vs Pathan.
