The maximum wind speed was 183 kilometers per hour. It is raining heavily in Taiwan's capital Taipei. However, the typhoon could not reach the Gami Islands. But this weather has further boosted monsoon rains.
The situation in the Philippines is critical
In the Philippines, this cyclone has been named Kareena. According to the Natural Disaster Agency of the Philippines, more than a dozen landslides have occurred in five days of rain. Flood-like conditions have been seen in many places. At least 13 people have died due to the cyclone. Due to this, six lakh people have become homeless. Out of which 35 thousand people have gone to emergency centers.
