New Delhi : Delhi-NCR is suffocating in the scorching heat. Due to the heat, the situation is such that there are queues of bodies at the Nigambodh Ghat of the national capital, in which the number of dead bodies is high. A record 95 dead bodies were cremated at Delhi's Nigam Bodh Ghat yesterday. According to people associated with the cremation management, this is a new record after the Corona epidemic. Even today there are queues of dead bodies there.
Let us tell you that usually 40 to 50 dead bodies are cremated at Nigambodh Ghat located at Kashmiri Gate, whereas during Corona this number increased to more than 100.
In April 2021, 107 bodies arrived here on one day. Now the heat wave is also wreaking havoc in the same way. According to Nigam Ghat Manager Suman Gupta, the number of bodies has increased in recent days and the number of deaths due to heat is also high.
