The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced a 16-member team for the 3-match T20 cricket series against India starting on 27 July. The team has been announced after the approval of Sri Lanka's Sports Minister Harin Fernando. The command of this 16-member team has been given to Charith Asalanka. Charith Asalanka was the vice-captain of the T20 cricket team till now. Asalanka has also captained the Sri Lanka Under-19 team in 2016. The Sri Lankan team will play T20 cricket matches against India on 27, 28 and 30 July.
