He apprised the officials of the problem of dilapidated wires and overload. There was a heated argument between the officials and the MLA over this. The workers created a ruckus for a long time.
SP MLA Atul Pradhan reached the headquarters of West Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited with the villagers on Tuesday. When he could not meet the Managing Director, the MLA surrounded Chief Engineer Dheeraj Singh. The MLA said that people are facing electricity problems due to dilapidated wires and increased overload. On this, the MLA started arguing with the power officials. As soon as the argument came to light, a large number of workers reached the office. People said that even after telling the problem many times, the power officials do not solve it. Accidents can happen anytime due to dilapidated wires and poles. There is a problem of overload in the scorching heat. Due to which there is a fault in the poles at any time and the power supply stops. Even after the complaint, officers and employees reach the spot. Electricity bills are increasing due to smart meters, but there is no one to listen to the problem.
Atul Pradhan said that he will not leave the department's office until the problem is resolved. Later the Chief Engineer assured to solve the problems.
