Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: It is always best to chant Ganesh shlokas on Ganesh Chaturthi. Hindu Lord Ganesha can always remove obstacles and bring prosperity. Every line said in Ganesh ji’s verse has a deep meaning.

Powerful Ganesh Shloka:

Verse 1:

Sukalam Bharatram, Vishnu, Sashivarnam, Chaturbhujam
Prasanna Vatanam Dyed Sarva Viknopa Sandaye

Meaning:

Lord Ganesha, I bow to you with all my heart. I meditate on this sweet form, clad in beautiful white clothes, omnipresent, having the complexion of the moon, having four arms and a sweet face. By your grace remove all the obstacles from my path and bless me.

Verse 2:

Vinayak Vighnaraj Shloka:
Vinayako Vighnaraja Dwaimathur Ganatipaha
Apyeka-Danath Heramba Lambodar Kajna

Meaning:

The name Ganesha means lord of all living beings. Vighnaraj means remover of obstacles. Ganadhip means commander of Ganas and Ekadant means Lord Ganesha with only one tooth. Heramba means one with irresistible powers. Khajana means face like elephant. I worship you with so many names.

Verse 3:

Vakratunda Mahakaya Vinayagar Slokam:
Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakodi Samprabha Nirvignam
gurume deva sarva karyeshu sarvatha

Meaning:

My Lord with the curved trunk and amazing body. There is the glory of millions of suns on your face. I like you very much. You will always be with me to complete all my work without any hindrance.

Verse 4:

Gauri Nandana Gajanan
Girija Nandana
Niranjana Parvati Nandana Shubhanana
Bahi Prabo Maa Bahi Prasanna

Meaning:

Kelari Beloved son of Goddess Parvati, elephant-faced boy, son of Krija Devi, son of Goddess Parvati, you have an auspicious face. Always keep your kind eye on the devotees.

Verse 5:

Om Ekadantay Vidmahe Vakratundaya Timahi
tanno tandi prachodayat

Meaning:

We meditate and pray to you Lord Ganesha, who is omnipresent with one tusk, and whose trunk is curved, elephant-shaped and of great intelligence. We bow before the one-tusked elephant.

Verse 6:

Simple Ganpati Mantra:

“Om Kama Ganapadaya Namah”

Meaning:

I bow to the Almighty Ganesha. I know all his good qualities. It removes all negativity from the person’s life before starting any work. Chanting this mantra brings success in all new endeavors undertaken by the person.

Gajananam Bhoota Ganadhi Sevidam
Kapit Jambubala Variable Bird
Umasudham Shoka Vansh Prana
Namami Vighneshwar Bada Pankajam

Meaning:

I bow to Lord Vinayaka, who has the face of an elephant, who is worshiped by the ghosts, who enjoys the juice of Vilam and Naval, and who is the son of Goddess Parvati.
