Kannauj, 07 July (HS). A small initiative by Sadar MLA and Minister Asim Arun to provide civic amenities to the people in a transparent manner has now started yielding results. A command center is working in the Collectorate to ensure that various government schemes and facilities are easily available to millions of citizens of the district. Any citizen can avail various government services by calling the command center number 1077.
89 old people got pension
To provide financial security to the elderly, the government is running an old age pension scheme. 93 elderly people have called the command center and asked for help for old age pension. Out of these, 89 elderly people have provided the necessary documents for pension. After investigation, all 89 elderly people started getting the benefit of pension. Under the old age pension, every elderly person gets financial assistance of Rs 1000 every month. Similarly, 8 women are getting the benefit of widow pension and 9 people are getting the benefit of disabled pension after calling the command center. Minister Asim Arun said that if someone's pension has not been made or is stopped, then call and inform the command center number 1077. We will start your pension soon.
