Bangladesh Mashrafe Bin Mortaza: In India's neighboring country Bangladesh, people have revolted against the current Sheikh Hasina government. Thousands of people marched towards Sheikh Hasina's residence, after which Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister and left Bangladesh and came to India. However, since then the violence has spread further in the neighboring country. The situation has worsened so much that cricketers have also become targets there. Protesters have also set fire to the house of former Bangladesh cricket team captain Musharraf Bin Murtaza.
Why did the former captain's house catch fire?
In fact, during the general elections held in Bangladesh this year, Mashrafe Murtaza contested from the Narail-2 constituency of Khulna Division from Sheikh Hasina's party. Not only this, Mashrafe Murtaza also won the election from this area for the second time. The movement started by students against Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh later became fierce and violent. Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina left the country on Monday. After the PM left the country, rioters attacked Musharraf Murtaza's house and set it on fire.
After Mashrafe Bin Mortaza retired from cricket, he joined Sheikh Hasina's Awami League in 2018. It was from here that he started his political career and won two consecutive elections.
