There were speculations that South's Srileela has been cast opposite Siddharth in this film. However, Siddharth is not considered a saleable star in the ticket market. His last film Yodha was a flop. Therefore, the producer could not find a financier in time. Therefore, it is said that Siddharth finally had to leave the film.
