Mathura, 25 August (HS). The celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival has begun in Braj and across the country. On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the 5251st Shri Krishna Janmashtami Maha Mahotsav by flying a balloon from Braj's land Mathura on Sunday. Also, from Panchjanya Auditorium, Chief Minister Yogi gave the gift of various development projects worth Rs 1037 crore to the people of Braj on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, which will facilitate people in the coming days. Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Maha Mahotsav program by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, Mathura MP Hema Malini, MLAs of the area and other dignitaries were present with the Chief Minister.

Here he inaugurated 137 projects worth Rs 596 crore including Barsana Ropeway, Laxman Shaheed Memorial Auditorium in Vrindavan, Multilevel Parking, Govardhan Tehsil Bhawan, Widening of Barsana Kosi Govardhan Marg, Widening of Mathura Vrindavan Marg and laid the foundation stone of 38 projects worth Rs 381 crore.
In the program held at Panchjanya auditorium, CM Yogi addressed from the stage and chanted Radhe Radhe Bihari Lal. He has come among you to start a new cultural program along with Shri Krishna Janmashtami and the development plans. Thanking my cabinet colleagues in the Uttar Pradesh government, Laxmi, Jaidev Singh, Sandeep, Lok Sabha Hema Malini ji, Rajya Sabha MP Tejveer Singh, Virendra Agrawal Mayor, former minister MLA Pandit Shrikant Sharma, Puran Prakash, MLA Meghshyam Singh, Mant MLA Rajesh Chaudhary, District Panchayat President Kishan Chaudhary and other representatives, I wished everyone a happy Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Nandotsav.
The Chief Minister said that people are attracted towards the land of Braj. Everyone is curious about this place. When the Prime Minister talks about heritage and development, Mathura comes first. The 5251st birth anniversary of Shri Krishna is a symbol of the fact that Hinduism is the most ancient. No other religion came to the world before this religion. CM Yogi said that Shri Krishna was born in the Dwapar era. There were Treta and Satya Yuga. There is mention of Sanatan Dharma in those eras as well. This religion has been preserved through manuscripts and Guru-Shishya tradition. After this, the CM watched the staging of Shri Krishna Leela organized by MP Hema Malini and praised all the artists and congratulated MP Hema Malini.
