Seven people were killed and others injured during a stampede at a music festival in Congo's capital Kinshasa on Saturday evening. Officials said the stampede took place in the center of Kinshasa and at a stadium with a capacity of 80,000 people, where popular Congolese singer Mike Kalambayi was performing. According to information, seven people died in this stampede, while some people were injured.

However, the local company that organized the event said that chaos broke out when antisocial elements in favor of security service providers tried to suppress it.
