Encounter in Jammu and Kashmir: In Jammu and Kashmir’s Awantipora Trail, security forces have got a big success this morning. Security forces killed two terrorists in the clash. Jammu and Kashmir Police has informed that a search operation is now being conducted in the area. Both the terrorists killed were associated with different terrorist organizations.

Terrorists involved in many terrorist incidents: Police

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that Safat Muzaffar Sofi alias Muawiyah of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and Lashkar terrorist Umar Teli alias Talha Tral were killed. Both the terrorists were involved in several recent terrorist incidents in Srinagar. Both were also involved in the murder of Sarpanch (Sameer Ahmed).

Attacks on civilians, security forces will not be tolerated: DGP

Ahead of the clash, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh warned terrorists that attacks on civilians and security forces would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against the culprits.

“These attacks are condemnable and have been condemned from all sides,” Singh said. This act is inhuman and will not be tolerated at any cost.” Dilbag Singh was talking to media persons after a function to pay tribute to Central Reserve Police Force head constable Vishal Kumar, who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Mysore on Monday.
