Philippines Apollo Quiboloy: The police in Philippines has busted the debauchery of a baba who has 60 lakh devotees. The police themselves are shocked to see the scene inside the ashram. The police has exposed the trick of the baba who claims to be the son of God. A secret passage has been found in the alleged ashram premises of this baba, which allegedly leads to the basement built for sex slaves. The police has found a grand lounge in this basement, whose door was built in such a way that it created the illusion of a wall. The trails of this huge complex of 75 acres are like a maze. More than 2000 policemen were deployed to arrest this 'son of God'.
The name of this alleged godman is 'Apollo Quiboloy', who is associated with Davao city of Philippines. This baba is accused of being involved in heinous crimes. At the same time, he has more than 60 lakh followers. Quiboloy is accused of fraud and child sex trafficking in America. The 'Godson' scandal broke when an informant informed the police about it. After raiding Apollo Quiboloy's premises, the police found items that indicated that it was being used to keep hostage women who were enslaved for sex. The police have also rescued two women who are suspected to be sex slaves.
It is feared that staunch supporters are hiding in the ashram
Police raided the ashram with the help of radar that can detect heartbeats through concrete walls. “We suspect that Derz extremists are hiding underground, which was detected by the radar,” police said. Reacting to the revelation that police had raided the ashram compound and discovered a secret passage, Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos said the government was obtaining a map from the Davao City Engineering Office. Construction regulations have been violated at the ashram.
However, Quiboloy has denied the allegations. The alleged Son of God said that those who were chasing him were agents of the devil. However, the 'Son of God' himself is on the FBI's most wanted list. Apollo Quiboloy is the president of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Church. It is a Restorationist Christian church based in the Philippines. He has more than 6 million followers.
Establishment of the church at the behest of God
Quiboloy founded the church while in exile in Tamayong in the late 1990s. Quiboloy said he was guided by God to establish the church. Following this, the number of his devotees grew. In the later years, he also received political and administrative support.
Helped former President Rodrigo Duterte win the election
Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte sought Quiboloy's support to win the mayoral election in 1988. The US action against Quiboloy attracted public attention. A US court convicted him of fraud and involvement in child sex trafficking. In November 2021, the FBI issued a warrant for his arrest. That's when his name came on the most wanted list.
Cooking, feeding and……….
The FBI also alleged that Quiboloy recruited women to work as personal assistants or maids, who would perform tasks such as cooking, cleaning the house, giving massages, and having sex at night. Quiboloy called this “night duty.”
Quiboloy fled
Although after the police raid, Quiboloy had declared himself innocent and said that he would face the law, but now he has suddenly disappeared. The police are searching for him. Meanwhile, Quiboloy's supporters have come out on the streets to protest against the raid. The police have so far arrested 18 protesters in this case. At the same time, 6 policemen have been injured.
