Jalaun, 02 September (HS). In Rampura Nagar Panchayat, sanitation workers gathered on Monday and submitted a memorandum to the sub-district magistrate against the councilors, saying that during the cleaning work, the councilors abuse them and use casteist words.
The sanitation workers in Rampura Nagar Panchayat have alleged that for the past several months, councillor Altaf, Mohammad Zakir and councillor's husband Girja Shankar abuse them on a daily basis. Apart from this, they use casteist slurs. Along with this, the said councillor has threatened to fire sanitation workers Ramlakhan, Santosh Kumar and Jagram. A written complaint has been made to the police, but no action has been taken in this matter. The sub-district magistrate has assured action.
