News of drowning of Indian students in Russia: Once again, shocking news has come from abroad. Four Indian students have died after drowning in a river near St. Petersburg in Russia. These four students were studying medicine at Novgorod State University in the city of Veliky Novgorod. It included two boys and two girls aged between 18 and 20 years.

According to local media reports, an Indian student went a little far from the bank of the Volkhov river and started drowning, when her four friends tried to save her. According to reports, three more students drowned in the same river while trying to save her. Local people rescued one boy safely.
