Moradabad, July 12 (HS). The police of the district has made full preparations for the Kanwar Yatra starting in the month of Sawan. Where the work of repairing the Kanwar Yatra routes is going on at a fast pace. Route diversion will be implemented from the evening of July 19 for the security of the Kanwar Yatra route. The above information was given by Superintendent of Police Traffic and Crime Subhash Chandra Gangwar.
Subhash Chandra Gangwar said that the diversion will be strictly implemented three days before the five Mondays falling in the month of Sawan and it will remain in force till the evening of 19th August. The duration of the diversion can be extended in view of the large number of Kanwariyas on the last Monday.
He informed that the holy month of Shravan is starting from 22nd July. In this, the festival of five Mondays, Shravani Shivratri, Nagpanchami and Rakshabandhan will be celebrated. In the first diversion for the traditional Kanwar Yatra in Shravan, the route of vehicles has been changed from 6 pm on 19th July to 4 pm on 22nd July. Vehicles will be banned on the Kanwar path.
