Came to Mumbai in 1993, then why started with TV?

Rituraj came to Mumbai in 1993 with the dream of becoming a hero in films. He had said in an interview that perhaps it was wrong for him to come to Mumbai because by then Shahrukh Khan had done the serial 'Army' and a lot had been written about him. This means that the standards were set for them first. Rituraj was trying to make his place in the industry. He also gave many auditions but got less work. He was lucky that at the same time Zee TV was launched and with the launch of Zee TV, Rituraj's career also started with the serial 'Banegi Apni Baat'.
