By Friday evening, 350 representatives including priests, saints and mahatmas from India and abroad reached Kashi to participate in the grand gathering of “51 Shaktipeeths and 12 Jyotirlingas of Maa Sati”. Lakshmi Shankar Sharma, National General Secretary of the organizing organization Center for Sanatan Research and Trident Seva Samiti Trust, said that priests, saints and Mahatmas from Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the temples of Twelve Jyotirlingas have reached Kashi. About 50 saints, mahatmas and priests of Shaktipeeth located in Tibet will reach here on Saturday. He told that on Saturday, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Brajesh Pathak will inaugurate the Mahasamagam. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Dharmendra Lodhi, Uttar Pradesh Minister Dr. Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, Ravindra Jaiswal will also be present in the program.
Let us tell you that on 30th November and 1st December, there will be a gathering of all the 51 Shaktipeeths and twelve Jyotirlingas of Maa Sati in the religious city of Kashi. In this, Peethadhishwar of Maa Shaktipeeths located in the entire Indian subcontinent, Archakas of Jyotirlingas, administrators, saints-mahants, priests, besides representatives of other major goddess temples and Shiva pilgrimages will participate. Wherever the body parts, clothes or jewelery of Mother Sati fell, Shaktipeeths came into existence. Of these, one in Pakistan, seven in Bangladesh, two in Nepal, one each in Sri Lanka and Tibet, a total of 13 Shaktipeeths are abroad. Representatives from major temples like Vaishno Devi, Naimisharanya, Maa Vindhyavasini, Datia, Kanyakumari etc. will also come in the Mahasamagam.
