RB Academy players won 10 medals including 7 gold medals in Kanninjuku National Karate Competition

Varanasi, May 27 (HS). Players of Varanasi-based RB Academy won 10 medals including 7 gold medals representing Uttar Pradesh in the Kanninjuku National Karate Competition held at DC School Khandala in Maharashtra. The competition was organized on 25 May 2024. Various states of the country participated in this competition. 6 players of Kanninjuku RB Martial Arts Academy of Uttar Pradesh participated in the competition on behalf of Uttar Pradesh.

Academy coach Arvind Kumar said that the academy players won a total of 10 medals in different categories of this competition, including 7 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Rishika Ryan and Vedant Mishra won gold in Kata and Kumite, Aarushi Verma won gold in Kata and bronze in Kumite, Khushi Majumdar won bronze in Kata and gold in Kumite, Aditi Sonkar won gold in Kumite and Shivani Gupta won silver in Kumite.

Coach Arvind said that Rishika Ryan also received the Best Karateka award. This award was given by the chief coach Soke Koichi Yamamura, Sensei Kentaro Yamamura and Kyoshi Paramjeet Singh who came from Japan.
