New Delhi: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped in an empty bus parked on the roadside in Gujarat’s Vadodara city. The police gave this information on Wednesday. A police official said that the incident took place in the city’s New VIP Road area on the late night of January 2.

An officer of Harni police station said, “At 8 pm on January 2, a 16-year-old girl from the tribal community was dragged into the bus by the minor main accused and his two accomplices. The absconding accused helped the main accused in forcibly dragging the girl to the bus. Both got out and locked the bus and then the main accused raped her.”
