Platform 4 of Jamshedpur’s Tatanagar railway station on Saturday recorded a close call from a passenger and bravery of on-duty RPF personnel as the former could have been saved from a fatal accident by two women RPF constables. , In the clip that has since gone viral on social media, a passenger, identified as Vinita Kumari, is approaching the train, which started exiting the platform at a steady speed.
While trying to push her luggage inside the moving train, Kumari loses her balance and slips, being pulled off the train just in time by one of the two female constables. It was later learned that the passenger was trying to board the Jan Shatabdi Express going from Barbil to Howrah and was in a hurry. Two constables of RPF have been identified as Pushpa Mahto and Shalu Singh.
