Eknath Shinde’s rebellion has created a stir in Maharashtra. On one hand Shiv Sena has completely surrendered to Shinde and on the other the rebel MLAs are under constant pressure. Uddhav Thackeray has vacated the CM residence by playing the emotional card. Still the picture is not clear. There is constant speculation about the next step of Eknath Shinde. Only 12 MLAs could reach the meeting called by CM Uddhav in Matoshree on Thursday. In other words, Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray, including Aaditya Thackeray, is left with only 13 MLAs. It is believed that there may be further split in the party. Eknath Shinde has the support of 49 MLAs. Shiv Sena has 42 MLAs. He has also released a video with those MLAs.

NCP meeting is being held regarding the political crisis in Maharashtra. Before the meeting, NCP leader Jayant Patil said, ‘We will stand with CM Uddhav Thackeray till the end. Eknath Shinde has issued a letter to the rebel MLA, in which many allegations have been made. The letter says why did you send Aditya Thackeray to Ayodhya? The rebel MLA further said that only Congress-NCP will be able to enter Varsha Bungalow. You never heard about our problems. We did not have the good fortune of going to Uddhav’s office. Hindutva-Ram Mandir was Shiv Sena’s issue. We could not keep our word against Uddhav.

Eknath Shinde’s rebel group Shiv Sena has claimed the support of 48 MLAs along with him. At present, 41 Shiv Sena MLAs are present in Guwahati.
