New Delhi: While the fear of Corona is over, the XE strain has created an atmosphere of fear all over the world. The rise of two patients of XE strain in India has created an atmosphere of concern. However, now India’s National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) Head of the company Dr. NK Arora has given a shocking news. In a recent interview with ANI, he said that the new variant of Corona, Omicron, is producing other variants. The new XE strain is an example from the X series. Therefore, he has appealed to the citizens not to worry.

He further said that according to Indian statistics, at present no serious disease can be caused in any form. More such variants will be made. However, in the current scenario, this variant does not seem to be spreading fast in India.

The type described above is only through the first level of testing. Therefore, it is not possible to say with certainty whether the initial XE described by a state is of type XE or anything else. Earlier in the case of XE, a subtype Omicron was found in Mumbai, Maharashtra, but this has not been confirmed yet. In Gujarat, a patient was found infected with XE type corona virus. The patient with the XE variant is a 50-year-old South African female who received both doses of the vaccine without any symptoms. The XE variant patient had come to India from South Africa on 10 February.
