Sandeep Pathak, Rajya Sabha member from Punjab has expressed serious concern over the condition of government schools in Gujarat. He tweeted, ‘You can imagine how children must be studying in such schools. He said that in 27 years BJP could not fix the schools. On the other hand, AAP has built world class schools in Delhi in 7 years. We will make similar changes in Gujarat as well.

The condition of government schools in Gujarat is very bad. There are 700 government primary schools where only one teacher has to teach. Only one teacher in each school is responsible for teaching children from class I to VIII. In the last two years, 86 government primary schools have been closed and 491 schools have been merged in the state.

That is why the AAP government has targeted the BJP and said that how can a single teacher teach so many students. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia visited the schools in Gujarat and saw that the condition of the schools is very bad and needs improvement.
