Due to the scorching heat in most parts of the country, people have become destitute and normal life has been affected. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department is expressing hope of relief from the scorching heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a western disturbance in Himachal Pradesh from April 12. As a result, rain and dust storm are very likely to occur over parts of North India from April 13. The Meteorological Department said that parts of Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Punjab are witnessing strong sunshine which may continue till April 12.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain, dust storm and light pre-monsoon activities in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh between April 13 and 17. Due to which there can be relief from the heat in these states.
In this regard, Dr. Mahesh Palawat, Chief Scientist of the Meteorological Department said that no western disturbance was seen in the early days of April. Due to which the hot weather continued in the plains. Apart from this there was no significant weather activity in the form of rain or snowfall in the mountains.
