Rajnandgaon, April 11 (H.S.). Assembly constituency number 73 Khairagarh by-election will be held on April 12 from 7 am to 5 pm. All arrangements have been made by the district administration for voting. 291 polling stations have been set up for polling. All preparations have been made by the district administration for easy and smooth voting of voters. BLO Facilitation Center has been set up to help the voters at 291 polling stations located under the area. In buildings having more than two polling stations, the voters’ list will also be available with the BLO for convenience. Clean drinking water, shade, wheelchairs, toilets and other proper arrangements have been made for the voters in all the polling stations.
Collector and Returning Officer Taran Prakash Sinha said that Sangwari polling stations have been set up for women voters. Where all women including officers and employees will live. Along with this, model polling stations have also been set up. Where additional facilities have been made available. Keeping in view the heat and the sun, medical facilities have been made available to the voters. For this, arrangements have been made for the voters along with the polling parties, medical kits and medicines and masks, sanitizers, thermal scanners related to the prevention of Kovid infection. The health centers of Chhuikhadan, Khairagarh and Gandai have been prepared for emergency medical facilities. Paramedical mobile staff will also be stationed in the assembly constituency along with essential medicines.
It is noteworthy that the total voters under Khairagarh assembly constituency are two lakh 11 thousand 516. In which male voters are one lakh six thousand 266 and female voters are one lakh five thousand 250. Of these, one thousand 612 are above 80 years and new voters are three thousand 752. Divyang voters include one thousand 11 and 89 service voters. There are total 291 polling stations in Khairagarh assembly, out of which 283 polling stations and 8 auxiliary polling stations have been made. In which 53 sensitive, 11 sensitive, 86 politically sensitive and five auxiliary polling stations and 133 general polling stations and three auxiliary polling stations have been made.
