Another clash broke out between left and right wing students at Jawaharlal Nehru University late on Sunday evening. According to the information received, 6 students were injured in this violent clash. According to JNU Students Union President Aishe Ghosh, there was a violent clash in JNU in which many students were injured. On the other hand, after the uproar, the supporters of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad reached the main gate of JNU raising slogans and then the main gate was closed. DCP of South West Delhi Police says that the situation is peaceful at present, both the student parties have staged a peaceful protest. Appropriate legal action will be taken on receipt of complaint.

Left students allege that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) students stopped them from eating non-vegetarian food during a clash on the JNU campus on Sunday evening. Left students also alleged that ABVP students attacked the mess secretary of Kaveri Hostel. Alleging that ABVP students were intimidated on the JNU campus, Left students have called upon the students to unite. The ABVP said in a statement that JNU students had organized a puja and havan at the Kaveri hostel on the occasion of Ram Navami. A large number of JNU students participated in the puja. On the other hand, former JNUSU president Sai Bala claimed that the ABVP prevented the students from eating non-veg. He has released a video saying that ABVP has stopped students from eating non-veg in the mess.
