Weather Forecast Today: North India is facing scorching heat. Many states including many states of the country are suffering from the heat. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in many states on Sunday. If it rains heavily, people will get relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department said that the Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from the night of April 12. Apart from this, the temperature may drop by 2-3 degree Celsius over many parts of Northwest India.

Heat wave continues in the national capital Delhi. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in Delhi on Sunday was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal. The maximum temperature was recorded at 41.6 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal. The humidity level ranged from 15 to 32 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department on Monday issued a ‘heat wave’ warning for many parts of Delhi. The sky will be clear and the sun will shine brightly, with maximum 41 degree Celsius and minimum 22 degree Celsius.


Now know where the rain will fall

According to the Meteorological Department, the heat wave is likely to subside in the plains of Northwest India from April 12. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the next five days in Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura.

At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Assam, Meghalaya on 10, 13 and 14 April. On April 13 and 14, there is a possibility of rain in Arunachal Pradesh and also in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in the Himalayan regions of West Bengal and Sikkim on April 10.

The IMD said that due to the cloudy sky in Delhi from Tuesday, some relief is expected from the scorching heat. According to the Meteorological Department, hot winds are blowing in Delhi for the last one week and the maximum temperature remains around 40 degree Celsius.
