The letter expressed concern over the positivity rate in Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra and Mizoram. It was also informed that 2321 new cases were reported in Kerala last week. Which is 31.8 percent of the corona cases in the entire country. At the same time, the positivity rate has increased from 13.45 percent to 15.53 percent. There have been 814 new cases in Mizoram, which is 11.16 percent of the cases in the whole country. Here also the positivity rate has increased from 14.38 percent to 16.48 percent.
794 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Maharashtra. Which is 10.0% of the total cases in the country. Here the positivity rate has increased from 0.39 percent to 0.43 percent. 826 cases have been reported in Delhi. Which is 11.33 percent of the total new cases in the country. In Delhi also the positivity rate has increased from 0.51 percent to 1.25 percent. While 416 new cases have been found in Haryana. Which is 5.70 percent of the total cases in the country. Here also the positivity rate has increased from 0.51 percent to 1.06 percent.
Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to 5 states. In which it is being said to be cautious about the increasing cases of corona virus. In the country, 1109 cases of the last 24 crore virus have been reported. The coronavirus positivity rate in the country is less than one percent. At present, there are a total of 11,492 active patients of corona virus in India. But in the last one week, cases of corona have increased in 5 states. Due to which the concern of the government has increased. The Union Health Secretary has warned that these five states should not hesitate to increase testing and increase the containment zones if needed. It has been said in the letter that the negligence of these states can cost the entire country.
