Gujarat Weather: In Gujarat, the heat is seen raining from the sky. Today i.e. on 7th April, the heat wave was at 43 degrees in 43 cities of the state. Hence Kandla has been the hottest place with 45 degree Celsius. Surendranagar recorded 44.4 degrees Celsius, Keshod 43.7 degrees Celsius, Bhuj and Amreli 43.4 degrees Celsius, Ahmedabad 43.2 degrees Celsius, Rajkot 43.1 degrees Celsius, Gandhinagar 43 degrees Celsius and Vadodara 42.1 degrees Celsius.

The rising heat in Gujarat has stopped people’s breath. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature was expected to be around 42 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

Ahmedabad recorded a maximum of 42.1 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, the second hottest place in Gujarat after Bhuj and 42.2 degrees Celsius in Bhuj. Surendranagar and Vadodara were the other cities where 42 degree Celsius was recorded. Heat wave conditions continued in parts of Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Porbandar, Rajkot, Surendranagar and Kutch districts on Tuesday.

The Department of Health warned about the symptoms of heatstroke and ways to reduce its effects and advised citizens to avoid direct heat if possible, drink plenty of fluids and take care of their health and keep their heads off when going out. Cover it with a damp cloth.


vadodara sugar mill will open again

Big and relief news has come for the farmers of Vadodara and especially Karjan taluka. Vadodara Sugar Mill will be reopened in Gandhar village of Karjan taluka of Vadodara district. Gujarat State Sugar Director BM Joshi Gandhinagar has given green signal to Vadodara Gandhar Sugar Factory.

Administrative letter has been handed over to Jitubhai Patel of Mota Pofalia village of Shinor to start Vadodara Sugar Factory with the blessings of Gujarat Cabinet Minister Jagdish Panchal. There is an atmosphere of happiness among sugarcane growers after the State Cooperation Minister Jagdish Panchal gave an administrative letter to reopen the closed Vadodara sugar mill.
