Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, has warned the central government to resume the movement. Rakesh Tikait said that the government has forgotten all the promises made to the farmers before the elections. He asked the farmers to be ready for the agitation. Rakesh Tikait says that the government did not fulfill its promises made to the farmers last year. Rakesh Tikait said that the date of agitation has not been decided yet but preparations have been completed.

Speaking in Muzaffarnagar, Rakesh Tikait said that the government has made several other promises apart from withdrawing three agriculture laws. He said that promises like Minimum Support Price Guarantee Act, electricity at fair prices, irrigation were made but till date no promise has been fulfilled. Due to which the farmers are ready to agitate against the government once again. For which he has also prepared.

 

Apart from this, Rakesh Tikait said that after the recent assembly elections, the government has forgotten the promises made to the farmers. He warned the central government that if the government did not fulfill the promises made to them soon, the farmers would once again be ready for agitation. At the same time, the president of the Kisan Union, Rajveer Singh Jadoon, also called upon the farmers to unite and said that once again get ready, we will have to fight a long time to fulfill our demands.
