Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait has once again warned the central government. He also accused the government of breaking the promise. “The government has broken its promises on other issues including the guarantee law on MSP,” Tikait said. Therefore, the movement will be started again by gathering the farmers.
Movement date not yet decided
According to the report, Rakesh Tikait said, “We have not decided any date for the agitation yet but we are fully prepared to start it soon.” With the repeal of three controversial agriculture laws, farmers have made several demands from the government, including the Minimum Support Price (MSP) Act. After the recently concluded assembly elections, the government has forgotten everything but the farmers have not forgotten their promises. Farmers remember everything. Nothing has been done by the government so far on issues like electricity, irrigation and MSP at reasonable prices for crops.
At the same time, in a meeting of workers at the office of Muzaffarnagar’s Mahavir Chowk, the state president of Kisan Union, Rajveer Singh Jadoon said, “Let the workers unite. There will be a long struggle again against the government.
