DEHRADUN, 07 APRIL (H.C.). Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Thursday that he is determined to make the state according to the dreams of the agitators. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the people of the state for giving full support to the BJP in the state for the second time in a row. He said that a new work culture and work behavior has come in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, representatives of various organizations welcomed Chief Minister and Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi in Mussoorie Town Hall auditorium.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is making all possible efforts for the overall development of the State. Recalling the state agitators of Uttarakhand, he said that the state government is determined to make Uttarakhand a state according to the dreams of the state agitators. All the promises we have made to the public will be fulfilled. In the first cabinet after the formation of the new government in the state, the cabinet has approved the formation of a committee for a common law for all the people of Uttarakhand. Soon the draft will be prepared by forming a committee of experts.

He said that the honorarium of environment friends has been increased to Rs 500 per day. The government has decided to give old age pension to both husband and wife and has also increased its amount. It has been decided to provide three gas cylinders free of cost to poor families in the state, for which budget provision has been made.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special attachment to Uttarakhand. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, many development works are being done in Uttarakhand. He said that various problems of Mussoorie region would be resolved. Arrangements will be made in Mussoorie so that the people of Mussoorie do not have to go anywhere for making various certificates. People’s houses will be built soon in Sifankot. 1.5 crore has been approved for the building of Garhwal Sabha in Mussoorie.

On this occasion, Mussoorie Municipality President Anuj Gupta, BJP Dehradun District President Shamsher Singh Pundir, former MLA Jot Singh Gunsola, BJP’s Mussoorie Mandal President Mohan Petwal and office bearers of various organizations were present.
